Do I need Turkish?
Not upfront. Many programs run in English, and Türkiye Bursları recipients get a free year of Turkish before their degree begins.
What does Türkiye Bursları cover?
Tuition waiver, dorm, health insurance, round-trip flights, a year of language, plus a monthly stipend (indicatively TRY 4,500 bachelor / 6,500 master / 9,000 PhD). One of the most complete packages anywhere.
Good for pesantren graduates?
Very — a Muslim environment, halal by default, and strong Islamic as well as general programs. Türkiye is a favorite among Indonesian pesantren graduates.
