What about work rights after graduation?
Quite good and improving: a Post-Study Work Visa of up to 3 years, in-study work hours raised to 25/week (2025), plus a new short-term graduate work visa from late 2026.
When does the year start?
Different from the northern hemisphere: the main intake is February/March, with some programs opening in July. Plan your application timeline around this.
