South KoreaEPS (Employment Permit System) Korea
G-to-G (government)The official government-to-government route (KP2MI–HRD Korea) for manufacturing, fishery, and agriculture. Entry is via the EPS-TOPIK test — registration is announced by KP2MI, usually once a year per sector. 2025 national quota ± 130k (Indonesia allocation ± 8,200); a 2026 intake cut is planned — check the official announcement.
Core requirements: Age 18–39, no Korean deportation history, pass EPS-TOPIK + skills/physical tests.
JapanSSW / Tokutei Ginou Jepang
Via licensed agencyJapan's official work status for 16 sectors (now including road transport, railway, forestry & timber). Entry requires two tests: JFT-Basic/JLPT N4 + a sector skills test (Prometric). Note: the Food Service field's quota is nearing its cap — check the official status.
Core requirements: 18+, pass JFT-Basic/JLPT N4 + the sector skills test; placement via licensed agencies or direct application.
G-to-G Jepang (Careworker/Nurse)
G-to-G (government)The KP2MI–Japan government program (IJEPA scheme) for nurse and careworker candidates — funded language training, official placement, annual quota.
Core requirements: Nursing diploma/degree (nurse) or careworker training; pass KP2MI's administrative & interview selection.
Magang Jepang (TITP)
Via licensed agencyThe 1–3 year technical intern program via licensed sending organizations — the beginner's door without SSW tests; graduates can upgrade to SSW test-free.
Core requirements: Typically 18–30, healthy, high-school graduate, basic Japanese (trained at the center).
TaiwanPenempatan Taiwan via P3MI
Via licensed agencyFormal placement (factory operators, caregivers, construction, fishing crew) via licensed agencies with KDEI-verified job orders — relatively fast, year-round. Minimum wage ± TWD 29,500/month (2026) for formal contract workers.
Core requirements: 18+, healthy (Taiwan MCU), position-specific training; scrutinize contract deductions before signing.
GermanyAusbildung Jerman
Independent routeGermany's paid vocational training (2–3.5 years) — earn ±€1,000–1,300/month while studying, then continue to full employment. Main intakes August/September, some February–March; apply 6–12 months ahead.
Core requirements: German B1 (nursing B1–B2), high-school diploma, an Ausbildung contract from a German company, training visa.
Triple Win (Perawat Jerman)
G-to-G (government)The official GIZ–KP2MI program for Indonesian nurses in Germany: funded language training, placement at standard German wages, supported recognition process.
Core requirements: Nursing diploma/degree + active license, work experience (typically 1–2 years), commitment to reach German B1/B2.
AustraliaWork & Holiday Visa Australia (462)
Independent routeA 1-year (extendable) work-holiday visa for ages 18–30 — Indonesia's quota is limited and opens each Australian fiscal year (±July); requires a government recommendation letter (SRPI) whose queue fills fast.
Core requirements: Age 18–30, IELTS ≥4.5, ≥2 years tertiary education, ±AU$5,000 funds, the SRPI letter.
Kerja Formal Australia (Sponsor Employer)
Independent routeEmployer-sponsored skilled visas for trades — chefs, welders, technicians, nurses. The strictest process on this list (skills assessment + IELTS) but the highest wages; runs year-round.
Core requirements: Recognized skills (assessment), IELTS 5.0–6.0, an Australian employer nomination.
Saudi ArabiaPenempatan Timur Tengah via P3MI + Musaned
Via licensed agencyFormal-sector placement (hospitality, construction, logistics, healthcare) via licensed agencies with Musaned-registered contracts — demand peaks before hajj/umrah seasons. Never accept pilgrimage-visa work offers.
Core requirements: 18+, GAMCA medical, a Musaned contract via a licensed agency; wages must be bank-paid in your name.
InternationalKapal Pesiar (Cruise) via Manning Agency
Via licensed agencyInternational cruise work (F&B, housekeeping, galley) via licensed manning agencies — dollar wages + tips, repeating 6–9 month contracts; year-round recruitment.
Core requirements: 18+, Basic Safety Training (BST) & seafarer's book, conversational English, hotel/F&B experience is a plus.
Singapore & MalaysiaPenempatan Singapura & Malaysia
Via licensed agencyThe closest formal placements (operators, construction, F&B, healthcare) via licensed agencies — the lowest departure costs and easy trips home; year-round.
Core requirements: 18+, meet work permit/S-Pass (SG) or PLKS (MY) requirements; ensure the job order is embassy-verified.
Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) Jerman
Independent routeGermany's job-seeker residence permit (live since 2024): enter for up to 12 months to look for skilled work WITHOUT a prior contract, via a points system (education, experience, language, age). Part-time work ≤20 h/week allowed while searching — a complement to Ausbildung & Triple Win.
Core requirements: A recognized degree/vocational qualification + German A1 or English B2; proof of funds ± €13,092/year; at least 6 points if the qualification isn't yet fully recognized. Apply via the German consular portal then book at the Jakarta embassy.
New ZealandAccredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) Selandia Baru
Via licensed agencyNew Zealand's employer-sponsored work visa (requires an accredited employer + job offer). 2025 rules eased: the experience requirement dropped to 2 years and pay follows the market rate (min NZD 23.50/hr). Sectors: construction, healthcare, hospitality, agriculture.
Core requirements: A job offer from an accredited NZ employer, ≥2 years' experience, medical check + police clearance; go through official channels / a licensed agency.
Qatar & UAEPenempatan Qatar & UEA (via P3MI)
Via licensed agencyStrong 2025 demand in healthcare (nurses, technicians) and hospitality across the Gulf beyond Saudi. MUST go through a licensed agency + the destination's official platform (UAE: MoHRE/Tawteen; Qatar: Ministry of Labour) — never on a tourist visa.
Core requirements: A proper contract & work visa before departure; sector skill/health certificates; verify the agency on SISKO P2MI first. Reject any 'go first, sort papers there' offer.

🔎 How to verify an agency's license (P3MI/LPK)
Before signing anything, make sure the agency is genuinely licensed. Four steps, all free:

Ask for the company's official name & licence number (SIP3MI for P3MI, or a LPK licence). Legitimate agencies don't mind being asked.

Check the company name in the government's official P3MI list (Kemnaker/KP2MI sites). Not on the list = walk away.
- 3
Confirm the vacancy is posted on official channels (SIAPkerja/Karirhub) — not just a WhatsApp poster or social media.
- 4
Watch for red flags: large upfront fees, passport confiscation, being told to hide it from family, or departing on a tourist visa.
